I've seen questions/answers that claim they were contacted by screaming banshees in the Political Category. Is that true? Do people really take this forum that seriously?
Do Y!A people really email others and cuss them out if they disagree with them?
It is absolutely true. I had some nut e-mail me because I made light of a strange question. He threatened me and demanded to know my name. After that I decided not to allow e-mails.
Reply:Some do I am sure. But most often, I have found that they e-mail people to give them more information than what they can put on y/a. They also point out web sites that can help you that you may not know about ( No one has surf the entire world wide web) So for the most part ,it is better to be open to these e mails. You never know what you may learn. P.S.
You can always censure the ones you do not like.
