How come when i upload photos to email people on yahoo mail they are huge? people say they are like 8X10 size.?

or bigger. does anyone know how to change the settings or what ever may need to changed. thank you so much!

You should crop the photos and/or decrease the number of pixels. If you don't have photo editing software, you can use Microsoft Paint for Windows (er, I'm sure Apple has something similar if that's what you're using). Open the photo in paint, go to the Image menu, pick stretch/skew. In the stretch boxes put in a percent that's less than 100. If you want the picture to be 1/4 the size that you start with, put in 50% for both. Hit ok. then save it under a new name if you like what you see, or Undo if you don't.


To crop the easiest way is to draw a box around what you want to keep using the select button and then under the Edit menu choose Copy to, saving it under a new name.
