How do I reach people via email?

Without spamming I want to reach people via emails to promote our website, we're trying to raise funds for good causes. We're trying to keep overheads at a minimum so we're creating a website with a paypal link. This only works if we can get people to visit the website.

That said, there are services you can hire who have mailing lists which are NOT spam. These lists are people who have signed up to receive ads, usually for some kind of remuneration. Ever heard of sites that advertise laptops for free? These sites really Do give away a laptop every once in a while to people who click on ad after ad after ad and finally refer enough suckers and click on enough ads to gain enough points to get a $100 laptop for free. All you have to do is pay one of these sites and you will get advertising for your site, and hopefully, you will get one of the few that do NOT send spam! Every once in a while, one of them will post their site HERE as part of an answer. Of course, whenever I see an advertisement, I ALWAYS report abuse...
