When I email people the "contact" name comes up as one thing, I want it to read differently how do I change it?

I find no help in the yahoo help page, so I would like someone to help me!





Months and months ago I changed my name, and it still comes up as the old name! It's kind of embarrassing thinking that I have my real name and when I email people it comes up as the childish one. How can I make sure that people see the name I have now! Thank you!

You just need to change the "from line" setting.





Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;mail options.


The "general" page opens----(or scroll to and click on "general preferences").





Near the top of that page----erase the name that shows on the From line and type in something else---a nickname or your real name or whatever suits you-----then click "save" changes at the top or bottom of page.





Just in case you're using the "New Mail".
