If things in the US are not going well, why not try to do something about it. If you completely annoy someone all-day, everyday with phone calls and emails, they will eventually fold.
If you are against the bailout and increased Federal spending, complain to your representatives in Congress. That's what I just did.
Why don't people email or call their Congressman to complain?
We did (and we continue to do it) but it doesn't seem to matter. They don't listen to the people anymore. The ruling elite call the shots on these issues. It's fraud on a grand scale.
Reply:2 things, people don't know what's really going, and/or, they are just too lazy to do anything about it. It's pretty clear, though, Congress doesn't care what the people of the US want, Republicans or Democrats, the only real "change" will come is if we throw out both the major political parties in 2010 Congressional elections.
Reply:Because Congress doesn't give a ****. They're bought and paid for... so it doesn't really matter. Some tiny, insignificant things might get through but anything that would actually make a difference... probably wouldn't.
Reply:I called Chuck Schumer and Hillary yesterday to tell them that I am in favor of helping the auto industry since they are the only ones offering to pay it back.
