Why is it that I have to email some people before I can receive their emails?

Sometimes I don't receive emails from people emailing me for the first time. I have to email them first. WHY????????????

are you talking about email on here or on your own email provider?


If its a provider, contact them and tell them whats going on and they might help you with this issue.
Reply:They probably don't know your correct email address. Also go to your Email program Tools/Account section and ensure the account is set up correctly. In the Incoming and Outgoing boxes your address probably should be:





mail.myusername.myisp.com

Reply:ahihi.. it's like.. eating the food without cooking it first... because... why will he/she e-mail you without discussing something / for a particular subject?... this question you got is kinda funny .. but yeah... you got point 'cause of it... but sometimes it happens that you e-mail them a lot but you cant even get 2 or more replies... it depends on the user/ the sender you're sending the e-mail... OK?
Reply:Depending on your email settings, your junk mail filters may not allow email from anyone not in your address book. So by emailing them first, you may be adding them to your contact list. Check your email settings or add your contacts to your address book manually.
