I am a lagitament company and am not out there trying to take money from people by over charging them. My son and I were ranked top settlement agents in the US for 2006. So I need to find email listing to help me bring in new clients to help.
Does anyone know how to get Email address listings for people that need to settle there unsecured debts?
First use spellcheck in your correspondence if you want to be seen as a "legitimate" business.
And sorry, i wont help you out. If you were the top agent in 2006 you need to find your own methods. Pay somebody with the money you squeezed out of people.

Reply:Develop an easy website and have a newsletter you can send out. On your website you can collect email and other information to follow up with those interested parties. Developing a website does not have to be expensive. You have a wonderful philosophy and business model. I think you would be very successful with that on line.

What is the easiest way to send a generic email to lots of people?
I want to send an email to a lot of people who have responded to an ad I placed online. I don't have their addresses in my contact list. I'd like to avoid the tedious process of typing out each email address. Any ideas?

If you still have the replies from them then it has a button add to cotacts. After you have added them all then just send the email to them.

Is it illegal to forward an email conversation to other people?
I was cut from my job expectedly without notification. I have two converstaions between me and my boss regarding my deployment. In addition to forwarding those conversations to the vice president of the department, I would also like to let him how that proper training should be conducted. I am not asking for my job back, just so the VP knows what type of person he is. Would that be illegal if I forward those conversation between me and my former boss?

The only security risks related to a Yahoo! email account would be if you had a password which was simple enough to guess or people could work out easily from seeing you type it, and setting your security questions to obvious things that not just you know.
Secure passwords would use a combination of letters and numbers, with the letters possibly a mix of upper and lower case. Make it something you'll remember but isn't guessable. The name of your favourite music group, girlfriend/boyfriend and pets are not secure passwords.
My preference lies with Gmail - their spam filtering is superb, reducing the chances you'll be presented with fraudulent scam emails, unless you start exploring the contents of your Spam box.

I need to send details of an event to about 25 random email addresses.Don't want to create a Category as it is a one time thing. When I try to send Yahoo tells me something doesn't look right about a recipient. I've checked punctuation,spelling,spacing,etc but can find nothing amiss.

Reply:I would first check with your webhost to see if they have anything that comes pre-installed with your hosting package. Most have an existing solution - there are many scripts available like this for free online. Just search for "free tell-a-friend scripts in (PHP, ASP, HTML, etc.). There are also freebie solutions from Bravenet or GeekVillage.

I know people that check their email at night when they wake up to go to the bathroom. I also know people who check their email 100 times a day or tweet all day long. Is this causing people to get A-D-D?

How do I send email to multiple people without the other email address showing?
I want to send to something like a mailing list, but I just want their email to show in the To field. I don't want my email to show or any one else's email to show in the To field except theirs. TIA

Send the e-mail To: yourself, but make your real name the names or nicknames of all the contacts you are sending the email to. Your name will really be one really long name that consists of all their names added together. Then BCC all of the contacts real email addresses. It's very possible this will get caught by several ISP's spam filters.

The best thing you can do is make a new email.
Reply:You don't have to get a new email. When you get one of the emails that you don't want, don't open it, just Spam it. Go to your mail options and mark setting to delete Spam upon arrivial, do not send to your inbox. You can also type in the address of those that you want to block. The reason that you are getting these emails is because you probably were web surfing and was asked if you wanted to see Secure and Non-Secure items and you checked Non-Secure and when you do that, other parties get your info. and start sending you crap. Never click on Non-Secure.. Hope this helps...

Haven't had that problem. Maybe they are emailing from work and no one checks outgoing but someone reads incoming.
If you find it irritating, block them with your email program. They'll never know. Or change your email address. Then they'll realize they can't reach you. Ha! on them!

Reply:Yes, it should, because it takes time. Phone calls are slightly more effective then e-mails, which are computer read, indexed, parsed, and replied with a boilerplate kiss off letter.
Hand written letters, are slower, but do get the attention of some, especially if they are well written, on point with some humor. They sometimes get an actually signed reply.
Letter's with checks for small amounts are always opened and read. Doubt that --- Try it --- you will never get your check returned :-O

I am designing a newsletter using Adobe Indesign cs3. I am trying to email this newsletter to people in HTML format. How do I do that? Or is there another format I can convert it to (other than PDF) that EVERYONE I send it to will be able to open and read?

Although immediate correspondence is wonderful at times, it's also opened up a door that is frightening. People tend to share their feelings about things that are and can be controversial and unwanted with people they barely know. I recently joined the PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) and have been getting mail from one of the users that I talk to on AIM. They are the type of pass-a-long emails that promote judgment of others and too much thought into the hate category for me to be bothered reading them. You know, the typical topics, illegal immigration, The Christmas thing, etc. I personally find it offensive to send these types of protests to someone that you don't know will appreciate them. Is it freedom of speech? I think not, I pay for my email box and don't want it packed with crap everyday.
I try to keep my correspondence within my circle of friends and family, never pass along anything judgmental or hateful and NEVER, EVER send mail to anyone unsolicited.
I recently received the ever so popular email about all the cry babies who are complaining about their Christmas being taken away. I wrote a rebuttal explaining that it has been taken way out of context and that I find an appreciation for everyone and their customs of holiday celebrations during this time of year and see nothing wrong with saying Happy Holidays. Christmas is the 25th of December, why say Merry Christmas all month long? How right is that? Needless to say, my new acquaintance never wrote back and quite frankly, I am happy as **** about it. Todays culture is a very much time orientated. Why write a letter that will take 5 minuites to write another 5 to find a stamp and then the post (takes 2 days to get there)? Email fits nicely into todays culture and its timesaving gadets.

Is it freedom of speech? I think not, I pay for my email box and don't want it packed with crap everyday.
I try to keep my correspondence within my circle of friends and family, never pass along anything judgmental or hateful and NEVER, EVER send mail to anyone unsolicited.
I recently received the ever so popular email about all the cry babies who are complaining about their Christmas being taken away. I wrote a rebuttal explaining that it has been taken way out of context and that I find an appreciation for everyone and their customs of holiday celebrations during this time of year and see nothing wrong with saying Happy Holidays. Christmas is the 25th of December, why say Merry Christmas all month long? How right is that? Needless to say, my new acquaintance never wrote back and quite frankly, I am happy as **** about it. How can someone who stands for other people's rights be so closed minded to allowing them to have them??
Reply:I think it has helped men keep in touch better. Many that would never maintain a written correspondence with their old buddies, now zip each other emails.
That's just one aspect, but important, I think.

My father in law told us via email he was remarrying - we couldn't believe it. Very poor taste - - but intentional, Im sure. He didn't want to "see" our reactions.

Reply:Positive - Being able to keep in touch with people all over the globe. E.g. I had something important to tell my dad yesterday and he's currently in Nigeria. It took him about two minutes after I had written to respond.
Negative - There is a technological underclass developing. e.g. my nan, who could have really benefited from internet access and email (e.g. for shopping and home delivery of groceries rather than asking a neighbour), but being old and partially sighted she couldn't expliot the potential.

Reply:Great question.... before email, people used the phone a lot more, but now with email, there are those who hide their true selves from the recipient.... that's where you get the child molesters and all the other cowards that hide behind the email.... the positive side is that it does give people a lot more confidence in communicating with others.... so I guess it has its positives and negatives, but what the heck... it's progress!

Reply:when was the last time you recieved a written letter in the post? Emails are not the only piece of technology to blame, mobiles etc have to share the blame. Todays culture is a very much time orientated. Why write a letter that will take 5 minuites to write another 5 to find a stamp and then the post (takes 2 days to get there)? Email fits nicely into todays culture and its timesaving gadets.
Reply:it has changed loads my husband goes away to sea a lot. when we first started seeing each other and he went away i would write every day and send cards, i would rush down the stairs for the postman with anticipation for a letter or card. now when i get home from work i log on its so different. I have boxes of letters from the beginning and nothing at for the last 4 years...how sad!!

It's called 'Filters'.
Filters automatically sort your incoming messages into folders that you create. They do so according to rules that you set up. The benefit of filters is that you don't need to read through each message to decide where it goes. For example, you could create a filter so that messages from your family members are automatically delivered to a personal folder called "Family".

5. If you have more than one filter, you'll also see "up" and "down" arrrows to the right of the filter list. Use these buttons to select the placement of your new filter within your existing sequence of filters. Filter order is important because Filter 1 will be the first filter applied to an incoming message, Filter 2 will be the next, and so on until a match is made or all filters are passed. If no filters match an incoming message, it will be delivered to your inbox.
Be sure to click the "Add Filter" button to put your new filter into effect.
Editing or Deleting an Existing Filter
Once you reach the Filters page, click radio button to the left of the filter you would like to edit and click the "Edit" button located on the top-right side of the Filters page. After making the desired changes be sure to click "Add Filter" for your changes to start taking effect.

When you visit any website, the url is displayed in your browser window. Click into it, thereby marking it. Copy the url, now you can insert it in mails as a clickable link. Just make sure you have a blank space before and after the url, otherwise it won't work...
