Reply:I saw where tens of thousand of petitions were delivered to the capital the other day. I call, I email, I don't see anything happening, but the Senators in my state are super liberal. Especially Udall- the campaign commercial against him depicted him as a hippy hiding out in a VW bus filled with smoke, lol.


I say whoever can go picket on the Washington Mall, should organize and orchestrate it.
Reply:Yes, it should, because it takes time. Phone calls are slightly more effective then e-mails, which are computer read, indexed, parsed, and replied with a boilerplate kiss off letter.





Hand written letters, are slower, but do get the attention of some, especially if they are well written, on point with some humor. They sometimes get an actually signed reply.





Letter's with checks for small amounts are always opened and read. Doubt that --- Try it --- you will never get your check returned :-O
Reply:Definitely call and email. They have another bailout geared up right behind this and even if we can't stop this we might be able to forstall that. Also call the blue dog dems who got their seats from GOP and could as easily lose them again. I wonder how Reid is so confident of them...
Reply:I believe the stimulus bill is still being debated because many people are contacting their representitives. Also, apparently they are watching the poll numbers and seeing people are very unhappy with the stimulus package as it stands. So yes, it does do some good.
