Why do some people make their email addy available here on Answers?

Why do some people bother enabling their email if they don't intend to respond to reasonable emails





I have tried to start up a conversation with a few people or tried to give them more detail about a particular question without any response. Why do you think this is??





Oh btw I have also had some terrific chats with people here or helped them with a particular problem

Who knows why? Maybe they get freaked out when they actually get contacted!
Reply:keep in mind that some peeps don't always check their E-mails daily and also if they do not recognize who the E-mail is from they might just delete. I think that most peeps in here that allow E-mail do so for the purpose to read them........... ;)
Reply:I wish I knew too. I asked a question about my washer and emailed the guy for further answers, since I am no mechanic on them, and I still haven't heard anything from him and that was over half an hour ago. So, who knows why some people do that. Maybe because they choose "not" to communicate back with some people.
